A section of the busy interstate that connects to downtown Los Angeles will remain closed in both directions “until further notice,” the California Department of Transportation, or CalTrans, said Sunday.
California Gov.
Gavin Newsom declared a state of emergency in Los Angeles County over the weekend, mobilizing state resources to assist with repairing the damage.
